With growing battery-related fires across the country, there is a need for more consumer battery safety education. Supported by industry groups devoted to batteries, electronics and power tools, Call2Recycle recently launched the ‘Avoid the Spark. Be Battery Safety Smart.’ campaign with a media tour in the Bay Area. The tour secured some great coverage, including a story in USA Today. Stay tuned for campaign updates!
